Step-by-Step Instructions
Place
Position your DTF transfer on your garment or product with the printed side facing up. Ensure the surface is flat and, if necessary, pre-pressed.
Press
Using a heat press, apply medium pressure at 300°F (160°C) for 12 to 15 seconds. Ensure even pressure across the entire design.
Cool & Peel
Let the transfer cool for at least 30 seconds.
Gently peel away the film.
Optional: Re-Press for Extra Durability
After peeling, press again for 5 seconds with a protective sheet (like parchment paper or a Teflon sheet) to lock in the design and extend its life.
Pro Tips & Troubleshooting
-
Ink lifting? Try increasing the pressure slightly or adding 1–2 seconds to your press time.
-
Design edges curling? Raise your temperature slightly and make sure you're using even pressure.
-
Storing extras? Keep unused transfers in a cool, dry space, flat, and away from direct sunlight.
