Protect your L1800 printhead — it's the most expensive part in your printer. The L1800 capping station keeps your printhead nozzles sealed and wet when the printer is idle, and drives the ink through the system during cleaning cycles. When this pad wears out, your printer can't prime correctly, nozzle checks become inconsistent, and ink flooding damages the head. It's a $23 part protecting a $249 investment.

Pro Tips from the Shop Floor
Replace the capping station and wiper blade together — they work as a system. A dirty wiper deposits contaminated ink back onto the fresh cap seal. Clean both, or replace both. Either way, do it at the same time.
